Anna Amador
Head of Auto Research, Kantar

Anna Amador is Head of Auto Research in Kantar China.

Anna has extensive 15+ years of automotive and market research experience. She started her career as a market research and product planning specialist at Honda Cars in the Philippines.

She then set off to work with TNS Philippines to co-lead the Automotive practice and likewise manage the company’s key FMCG accounts. During her stint with the company, Anna also became adept in qualitative research, facilitating focus group discussions and in-depth interviews.

In 2005, Anna joined J.D. Power in Singapore as a Country/ Project Manager where she had successfully grown the company’s syndicated business in the Philippines market. After 3 years, Anna moved to TNS Singapore where she led the research services team in the management of proprietary and syndicated automotive studies in various countries in the Asia Pacific region.

In 2010, Anna moved to China where she worked for Synovate (now Ipsos) in Shanghai. She helped to build the automotive research team across the company’s three offices, Shanghai, Beijing and Wuhan. She then moved to Nielsen Company in 2013 where she successfully grew and developed the automotive business and team in their Shanghai office.

Anna graduated with honors and received her Bachelor of Arts, Major in Economics degree at the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines.
