Leon Zhang is Senior Director, Kantar Vermeer. During the past 10 years, Leon has been dealing with TMT (Telecom, Media, and Technology) industries consumer goods, manufacturing, and automotive by engagements on corporate strategy, business growth/go-to-market strategy, portfolio management/optimization, channel strategy, change management and M&A transactions.
Leon has extensive experience as a strategist serving multiple types of clients, from Fortune 500 multi-national corporations to local private companies, from in-house companies to institutional investors, collaborating with partners from Asia, North America, and Europe.
Prior to joining the Vermeer team, Leon worked for Deloitte’s Commercial Strategy practice and Accenture’s Strategy service-line.
Besides, Leon has been a part-time instructor/lecturer at Chinese-Deutsch Institute of Tongji University and School of Management of Fudan University.
Leon holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and is a graduate of Fudan University; during the school years, he’s been honored by awards such as the Excellent Graduate Student of Fudan University, and Merrill Lynch Scholarship for Penultimate Students of Economics and Management, etc.
